Many times when I suggest this students are afraid of the costs that come with a visit, but wouldn’t you rather spend $500 for a visit and find out you don’t like a place then enrolling with a $20,000 tuition and finding yourself miserable?

Distance from your home is going to be another important thing to look at. Some prospective students want to move away from home while others are looking to live closer to home. When I was looking at fashion merchandising schools, I ended up choosing a school close to home because I wanted to be able to visit with my family. You may or may not find yourself in the same boat.
